My Story

Me and my fiance have decided to raise funds for Nottinghamshire Hospice. We will be doing a 24-hour non-stop gaming marathon starting on May 31st 2020 starting at approx 12 midday Sunday and ending 12 midday Monday 1st June. We have chosen to support Nottinghamshire Hospice because as you can imagine many charities are suffering at the moment due to the covid-19 outbreak. We were wondering what we could do that would challenge us, whilst remaining safe and indoors. We are both passionate gamers and thought we could fundraise by doing a 24-hour non-stop gaming challenge to complete between the both of us. Nottinghamshire Hospice is especially close to mine and my familys hearts, as my grandmother received Hospice care in Nottingham and I know how important their services are. I never got to meet her, but my mother told me about how much they helped her out in her final days. My sister is currently working at the Hospice and I have seen how they have been affected by the lockdown, losing vital funds through cancelled events and closed charity shops. We will be streaming the gaming marathon on twitch for you to watch. Twitch account where the live stream will be held link https://www.twitch.tv/liliatalila
